Venture Painting strives to be Canada’s Greenest Commercial Painting Contractor. Even though our logo sports a bright red color we pride ourselves in taking every step in our industry to be green. All products we use are 100% LEED (Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design) as well as MPI (Master Painter Institute) Approved. Looking for cost effective solutions? While some products are tested by the Master Painters Institute; thousands are not. This doesn’t mean you are purchasing lower quality paint, merely purchasing a product that have not been submitted for testing by the MPI. Costs can be saved by using these products which have met Government VOC Legislation and in most cases, LEED Standards, but do not incur the cost of continual testing of their products to meet MPI requirements.
All workmanship is covered by Venture Painting’s 1 Year Standard Warranty. Projects which incorporate the Owner/Architect specified MPI Inspection & 2 Year Guarantee enjoy the added year of warranty coverage in addition to an on-site inspection service during the course of the project, ensuring that the proper products are being applied in the proper manner and that substrates meet “paint ready” standards.

Venture Painting is now seeking Painters, Vinyl Hangers and Labourers.
Experience is ideal, but we are always on the lookout for individuals that are interested in learning the trade. Requirements:
- Experience in Commercial and/or Residential Exterior & Interior Painting or Wallcovering Installation.
- Clean Whites
- Small Hand Tools (2-4' Extension Pole, Pole Sanding Attachment, Combination Screwdriver, Etc.)
- Safety Equipment (CSA Approved Steel Toed Boots w/ 6" Ankle Support and Hardhat)
- Able to work from 7:00am to 3:30pm daily
- Knowledge of airless spray equipment use
- Journeyman's Ticket an asset but not required
In addition to experienced painters we are seeking experienced foremen. Applicants must own their own vehicle and be extremely reliable. A minimum of 5 verifiable years commercial painting and leadership abilities is required.

We are currently seeking a Construction Estimator to join our team and head project tendering. This is a full-time, permanent position for the right individual.
General Scope of Work
Maintaining a list of current project tender requests
Submitting requests to inviting parties
Obtaining, reviewing, maintaining and identifying items to be taken off along with potential risks, opportunities and alternative solutions required to accurately determine scopes of work being tendered.
Identifying items to be taken off along with potential risks, opportunities and alternative solutions.
Coordinating takeoff’s with quantity surveyors.
Creating and maintaining list of unit rates in conjunction with supplier pricing
Assist in performing quantity takeoffs and systematically estimate costs involving painting, concrete sealers, wall covering, etc.
Completing the necessary estimates/proposals documents such as clarifications lists, tender forms, breakdowns, rates schedules, etc.
Attending and participating in site-visits, pre-bid meeting and post-bid meeting as required.
Review estimate details effectively to project managers.
Submission and tracking of RFI’s to clarify items contained in tenders.
Maintaining files for estimates including information on qualifications, labour rates, construction equipment rates, material pricing from suppliers, subcontract pricing from third parties vendors, benchmarks of historical productivity figures, etc.
Assist in pricing of change requested on awarded projects
Field measurement when required.
Follow up to previously submitted tenders
Ongoing review of estimating procedures and bringing forward ideas for continual improvement and/or efficiencies.
Other Requirements
Excellent analytical, organizational and communications skills
Ability to work in a team environment
Ability to travel to construction sites (valid drivers license & vehicle required)
Ability to review and identify trade specific scopes of work
Above average computer skills including experience with Microsoft Office.
Understanding of standard construction documents including drawings, specifications, tender forms, etc.
